INFO: Windows locale requirements for SPE installations

Expand / Collapse

This article applies to:

  • MailMarshal SPE

Question:

  • What are the Windows locale requirements for MailMarshal SPE?
  • Why are database operations failing with date-related SQL errors in text logs?

Information:

In a MailMarshal SPE installation, all services must use the US English locale and regional settings.

This advice applies to all servers and all services, including all MailMarshal SEG services on all arrays, and all SPE agent services.

If you need to change the service locale settings, please refer to the instructions in Q15031, Setting Windows Locale (date format) for Marshal product services.
