Certain images are missing in Web Sites

  • Description
When browsing to a web page some areas of the page are not shown correctly, especially images.

  • Symptoms
Images, pictures, objects etc.are missing for no apparent reason.

  • Cause
If the image or object (which is missing) is larger than the threshold of the status page, it will trigger the status page (except for the types defined in the status page's settings - default values are flash & pdf) and this will cause the image to appear as missing in the page.

  • Solution
There are several solutions to this issue, and choosing between them is dependant on the customer's requirements:
    1. Disable the status page completely:
Go to Settings -> Miscellaneous -> Status Page, and uncheck the radio button saying "Enable Status Page".
    2. Increase the threshold size of file which triggers the status page:
Go to Settings -> Miscellaneous -> Status Page and increase the "Size Threshold for Immediate Activation (in KB):" to exceed the blocked content size (the file that was blocked):

    3. Add the file types to the list of extensions which do not trigger the status page:
Go to Settings -> Miscellaneous -> Status Page and add the required extensions:
