Question:
Users occasionally get locked-out for one or two minutes
Reply
Question: Some of my users occasionally get "locked-out" for one or two minutes. What might be causing this?
The most likely cause of this would be your X-Strikes settings. To view your current X-Strikes configuration, go to:
System -> X-Strikes Blocking.
You can configure this feature to send you emails notifying you of locked workstations.
There are two kinds of "lock-outs" the user could be getting. If the page says "Warning: Your Internet privileges have been temporarily suspended," this is being generated by X-Strikes Blocking.
If the page says "Quota Block," this page is being generated by the Quota feature. To view your Quota settings, go to System -> Quota Setting
After reviewing your X-Srikes and Quota settings you still can't figure out what's causing users to get locked-out, please contact technical support for assistance.
