Receiving a Software error when activating an R3000 update account.

Reply

If you receive the following Software error when activating a new R3000 or an RMA update account:

Software error:
DBD::mysql::db do failed: Duplicate entry '<hostname of R3000>' for key 1 at /usr/WWW/cgi-bin/activate_r2000 line 134.
For help, please contact Trustwave Support, giving this error message and the time and date of the error.

The error is being generated because you are attempting to activate an account with a hostname that is currently in use.  f this is a new R3000, please select a different unique hostname. If this is an RMA account and you wish to continue using the existent hostname, then it will be necessary to contact support so they may further assist you on deactivating the old hostname, and then you may activate the new account with the pre-existent hostname.
