Question:

How do I set up a successful delivery receipt rule in MailMarshal SMTP?

Procedure:

Currently, the MailMarshal product does not have the capability to send a successful delivery receipt notification to the original sender (once MailMarshal successfully delivers a message to a remote email server).  However, MailMarshal can send a notification to the sender if there is a delivery failure.

For more information on using the MailMarshal Notification templates:

MailMarshal SMTP 6.5 and above

  1. In the Configurator or MailMarshal (SEG) 10 Management Console, navigate to Array Properties | Advanced System Properties | Templates.
  2. Click the Help button on the Templates item to read about each of the templates.
    • You can create new templates from the Policy Element Message Templates in the Configurator main menu.

MailMarshal SMTP 6.0 through 6.4

  1. In the Configurator, navigate to Tools | Server & Array Properties | Advanced tab.
  2. Click the Additional Options button.
  3. Go to the Templates tab.
  4. Click the Help button on the Templates tab to read about each of the Advanced Properties templates.
