Expand / Collapse

This article applies to:

  • MailMarshal (SEG)

Question:

How do I set up a successful delivery receipt rule in MailMarshal SMTP?

Procedure:

Currently, the MailMarshal product does not have the capability to originate a successful delivery receipt notification to the original sender (once MailMarshal successfully delivers a message to a remote email server).  However, MailMarshal can send a notification to the sender if there is a delivery failure.

For more information on using the MailMarshal Notification templates:

MailMarshal 10.0 and above

  1. In the Management Console, navigate to Array Properties | Advanced System Properties | Templates.
  2. Click the Help button on the Templates item to read about each of the templates.
    • You can create new templates from the Policy Element Message Templates in the Configurator main menu.

MailMarshal (SEG) 8.X

  1. In the Configurator, navigate to Tools | MailMarshal SEG Properties | Advanced System Properties | Templates.
  2. Click the Help button on the Templates item to read about each of the templates.
    • You can create new templates from the Policy Element Message Templates in the Configurator main menu.
