kernel: Buffer I/O error on device fd0, logical block  0

kernel: end_request: I/O error, dev fd0, sector 0

  • These errors are related to not having a floppy drive on the appliance.  The operating system is attempting to read from a floppy disk device which isn't part of the appliance.  These errors will be resolved in the next kernel update
  • There are no negative side effects to these messages other than the few seconds that the system spends trying to access the floppy drive during boot.

The errors will go away in the next kernal upgrade.
