Question:
How can I prevent a browser warning when users hit the web-based authentication page?
Reply
If you are using web-based authentication on your system, it is likely that when the authentication page is accessed, a user's browser will display a warning regarding the SSL certificate of the page.
In order to stop this warning from appearing and have your users move smoothly to the auth page, you will need either a Trusted Root CA certificate, or an Intermediate CA certificate. The trusted root types can be uploaded through the GUI, from System > Authentication > Authentication SSL Certificate. An intermediate certificate will require assistance from Tech Support to be installed from the backend.
