HOWTO: Identifying the serial number for NAC TS-25

Expand / Collapse

This article applies to:

  • NAC TS-25

Question:

  • How can I identify the serial number on a NAC TS-25 appliance that will not start?

Reply:

Trustwave devices may have multiple serial number labels as a result of the appliance production process.

The only labels that are significant are in the locations described below.

The serial number that should be used in all cases is the one with the earliest date stamp (that is, the oldest).

In the image below, that is the S/N xxxxxxx with a date of 07/15 (July, 2015).

In the case of dates in the same month, the lower (numerically) of the two numbers is the number to use.

The labels are located under the appliance.
