INFO: Additions to Release Notes for Trustwave ECM 7.2

Expand / Collapse

This article applies to:

  • Trustwave Email Content Manager (ECM) 7.2 (formerly MailMarshal Exchange)

Question:

  • What are the Release Notes for Trustwave ECM 7.2?

Information:

The release notes installed with Trustwave ECM are current as of the date of publication. This article includes any information generated after that date.

The current release of MailMarshal ECM 7.2 is version 7.2.0.9733, published March 7, 2017.

Exchange 2019/Server 2019 Support

ECM 7.2 supports installation on Microsoft Server 2019 and Exchange 2019.

  • To allow SQL connections between the Array Manager and SQL Server, enable TLS 1.1. TLS 1.1 is not enabled by default on Server 2019.
  • A forthcoming release of ECM will include the Microsoft driver that supports database connections using TLS 1.2

Known Issues

Threat Filtering

Release notes state that the Known Threats Zero Day category is automatically updated. Due to change in the framework used to generate this information, it can no longer be published in a format suitable for ECM. Customers should use MailMarshal SEG for gateway anti-spam and zero day protection.

Virus scanners do provide significant anti-malware capabilities in ECM.
