INFO: How to change the speed and duplex settings of the eth interace? (SWG 11.6 or higher)

  • SWG 11.6 or higher

Question:

  • How to change the speed and duplex settings of the eth interace on SWG version 11.6 or higher? (to correct the errors visible on the interace after executing "ifconfig" command)

Information:

In SWG version 11.6 or higher, the option to change the speed and duplex settings of the eth interace has been added to the "config_network" command in the Interface configuration section.

Please see the example below:

Notes:

Please note that this option was not available in the previous SWG versions and changing the speed and duplex settings of the eth interace was possible with the "ethtool" command (available in the super shell). Sample screenshot of the network settings configuration options from SWG version 11.5 below:
