No, this is not possible (as per the design). On the Cloud Scanner / "SWG Remote Device" type, "config_hardware" command is disabled - see the example below:
The reason for disabling the "config_hardware" command for the Cloud scanner devices is that writing to additional volume (sdb) in the Cloud infrastructure would have to be done over the network, thus causing higher delays in processing requests on the SWG than writing to a physical drive. Drives in Cloud instances are connected over the network and the performance is lower than the performance of physical volumes. Enabling Caching Kit in such scenario doesn't provide expected performance benefits.
