  • Does App Scanner support Oracle as a back end database?

Information

Yes, App Scanner can be installed with Oracle as the back end database.

The following Oracle versions are supported:

  • 11g
  • 12c

The following character sets are supported:

  • NLS_CHARACTERSET = AL32UTF8
  • NLS_NCHAR_CHARACTERSET = AL16UTF16
The following roles are required for the user account:
  • grant connect
  • resource
  • create session
  • create table
  • create view
  • create sequence
  • create procedure

App Scanner requires both a permanent and temporary tablespace.  The user account used for App Scanner should have the permanent tablespace set as the default.
