FAQ: Can I migrate a customer's quarantined email from SMTP to SPE?

Expand / Collapse

This article applies to:

  • MailMarshal SPE

Question:

  • Can I migrate a customer's quarantined email from SMTP to SPE?

Reply:

You cannot migrate a customer's MailMarshal SMTP quarantined email into a MailMarshal SPE installation.

LevelBlue recommends that the customer keep the MailMarshal SMTP infrastructure running (with no MX records, and with the node receiver service disabled) until the MailMarshal SMTP retention period has expired. This gives the customer access to their quarantined email via the MailMarshal console.
