INFO: What are the differences with sub admin help desk and Ipgroup sub admin

This article applies to:

Product R3000 at 4.0.10 version and WFR at 2.0.10

Question:

  • What are the permissions with 'Sub Administrator',  'IPGroup Sub Administrator' and 'Help Desk Admininistrator'

Information:

There are three types of GUI access, a 'Sub Admin' accounts, an 'IPGROUP Sub Admin' and a ' Help Desk Administrator'.

 Sub Administrator created by the Administrator:

  • Can administer his custom categories only 
  • Can reload Library
  • Can perform 'Library Lookup'
  • Cannot see 'IPGROUPS'.
  • Cannot add 'IPGROUPS'
  • Cannot see System Settings
  • Cannot see Reporting settings in the filter


 IPGROUP Sub Administrator:

  • Can modify assigned 'IPGROUP' profile only
  • Can add/modify custom categories for their IPGROUP only
  • Can reload Library
  • Can use 'Library Lookup'
  • Cannot see System Settings
  • Cannot see Reporting settings in the filter
  Help Desk Administrator created by the Administrator:
  • Can reload Library
  • Can perform 'Library Lookup
  • Cannot see System Settings
  • Cannot see Reporting settings in the filter
  • Cannot see 'IPGROUPS'
  • Cannot add 'IPGROUPS'
