The 8e6 Authenticator running on a Windows Vista operating system with the following parameter does not produce log file in the default path "C:\".start \\SERVER\netlogon\authenticat.exe RA[192.168.19.120]LE[0]LD[1]
This problem occurs if the default path for the debug log file is not set to C:\. The Authenticator should default to C:\ if the LF parameter is missing, but the log file is created only if the LF parameter is provided.
Add the LF parameter to the authenticator.exe call as in the following example:
start \\SERVER\netlogon\authenticat.exe RA[192.168.19.120]LE[0]LD[1]LF[C:\]
