Question:

  • Backup and restore best practice?

Reply:

The new feature does schedule a recurring backup by entering remote server criteria and creating a schedule for performing the backup.I

Notes: Please note that the network settings (IP address, default gateway, net mask, hostname, etc) are not saved with the backups.

To upload a back file to upload to the filter follow steps 1.2.3 below. If you have a old config and a newer version filter or RMA hard drive that we shipped than your old backup, go ahead and upload and call tech support for a migration upload. We have a tool we can use to get your old custom urls, Ipgroups, ldap settings and profile rules.
