This article applies to:

• R3000 v 2.1.10
• R3000 v 2.2.00

Symptoms:

• Adding a new subgroup with empty names corrupts the Admin GUI Group tab and it becomes inaccessible.

Causes:

• From the Admin GUI, if you go to IP groups to copy and paste groups and click "ok" without entering a name for the new group, the directorymap.conf file will be corrupted with commas at the beginning of a line. Next time when the tomcat server restart, the Group.xml file will be corrupted. Therefore the "Group" tab of the admin gui becomes inaccessible.

Resolution:

 The solution is to enter a name when pasting a new group. A Programming ticket to fix this anomaly has been submitted.
