FAQ: Can the "Alias list" drop-down menu be disabled or removed from the Web Authentication Form?

Expand / Collapse

This article applies to:

  • R3000
  • R3000IR

Question:

  • Can the "Alias list" drop-down menu be disabled or removed from the Web Authentication Form?

Reply:

Yes.

If you do not want the end-user to have to select their correct Alias, then the "Alias List" drop-down menu can be removed from the Web Form. This will not affect the user's authentication or profile as the R3000 will still be able to match their correct alias if applicable.

However, this is not a change that you can make from the R3000 GUI. To accomplish this, a configuration file will have to be edited from the backend (command line). The Trustwave tech support staff will be able to edit that file as long as backend access (ssh) is available.

Please contact Trustwave Tech Support for more information.

Notes:

Optional.
