Question:

How can I resolve an ACL adjustment error during AD Agent installation?

Reply

When running through the installation procedure for the AD Agent, it is possible that the Agent will fail to finish installing during the last step due to an inability to perform ACL adjustments.

This is basically a Windows networking issue - the simplest method of resolving this issue is to make the server (where you are installing the Agent) leave and rejoin your domain.  Since the Agent can operate fine from non-DC servers, such as file servers, it will likely be best to do this on that type of server.
