INFO: Status of a rebuild drive

Expand / Collapse

This article applies to:

  • R3000

Question:

Status of a rebuild drive

Reply

Is there a log where I can check the status of a rebuild drive?

There is currently no GUI access to the raid rebuild status, but it is not uncommon for the rebuild to take more than 4 hours.

The raid rebuild status runs at a fairly low priority by design, such that it doesn't interfere with the functionality of the box (i.e. if the raid array is being rebuilt on an R3000 filter, it will not stop filtering because the box is busy rebuilding the raid array). Because of this low priority, it can take several hours for the rebuild to complete.
