Question:
After upgrading the filter to 2.0.10, SNMP does not work.
Reply
The R3000 patch 2.0.10 introduced some changes and corrected some issues to SNMP access control. As a side effect, some versions of SNMP queries may not be acceptable to the R3000. You may have to use version 2c.
If your SNMP server is a Linux box, then try running the following:
snmpwalk -v 2c -c <community_string> <hostname_of_R3000>
If this returns favorable results, then make sure the SNMP query is using version 2c.
