INFO: I am unable to login to TAR Administration GUI. What to do?

Question:

I am unable to login to TAR Administration GUI. What to do?

Reply

Please confirm that you are able to ping your Threat Analysis Reporter (TAR).  If ping is successful and still cannot login to the Administration GUI while running software version 1.1.00.11 or older, there is a known issue in regards to the rotation of certain log files which eventually cause drive to become full.  System not being able to write to disk when full causes certain processes to not be able to start resulting into denied access upon a login attempt to the Administration GUI.

Please note that this issue mostly applies to units running on pre-1.1.00.11 software version or those that have recently been upgraded to 1.1.00.11.

A fix is available; please contact 8e6 Technical Support for help.
