This article applies to:

  • Threat Analysis Reporter

Question:

I have changed IP address of the TAR but gauges show no activity even though my R3000 is Filtering.

Reply

This could be due to synchronization breakdown between the two devices due to IP address change.  To manually synchronize R3000 and the Threat Analysis Reporter (TAR), login to the TAR Administration GUI, and do the following:

  • Navigate to “Administration” Menu.
  • Go to “Device Registry”.
  • Click on the R3000 under “Current Devices” followed by clicking on the “R3000 Sync” button.
Allow a few minutes for gauges to collect data and confirm activity.  If there still is no activity being logged, please contact 8e6 Technical Support for further assistance.
