INFO: New logins do not show the Today page by default

Expand / Collapse

This article applies to:

  • MailMarshal SPE 2.3 and above

Question:

  • Why do newly created administrative or customer logins not show the Today Page?

Information:

The Today Page in the Administration and Customer Web Consoles provides statistics on email processed.

Generating the Today Page for all logged in users of the Web Console can consume significant resources, especially on an installation with multiple arrays.

To conserve resources, by default MailMarshal SPE 2.3 and above disables automatic generation of the Today Page statistics for all newly created logins.

To view the statistics, after logging in a user can click Show Statistics at the top right of the page.

To enable automatic generation of the Today Page statistics for any login, edit the properties of the login and check the Today Page box on the General tab.

Notes:

By default any logins created in earlier versions have automatic generation of the Today Page enabled. This setting is not changed during the upgrade.
