FAQ: Does EndPoint Security perform audit logging for floppy drives?

Question:

  • Does EndPoint Security perform audit logging for floppy drives?
  • Are internal drives audited by EndPoint Security?

Reply:

Internal floppy disk drives are legacy devices. Disk insertion into these drives is not logged in the EndPoint Security Audit Log.

However Audit Log records are created for USB based external floppy drives.
