The Release Notes included with MailMarshal SMTP 6.5 are accurate as of the date of publication.

The latest release of MailMarshal SMTP 6.5 was 6.5.4.7537, released May 27, 2009.

Please see the Release Notes for changes from earlier releases.

  • 6.5.4 includes an important fix for the upgrade installer, and additional fixes.

Upgrading Notes:

Please read the Release Notes before installing the upgrade. Prerequisites and supported operating systems have changed.

MailMarshal SMTP version 6.X supports a direct upgrade from MailMarshal SMTP 6.0 and later versions.  This is a change from earlier versions. To upgrade from a version prior to 6.0, first upgrade to a 6.x version.

The Quarantine Sync tool that was supplied with earlier releases is not included with MailMarshal 6.5.

Additional items in this version:

  • MM-1772: TIF images are now visible in the Console preview. Large BMP, GIF, TIF, PNG, and JPG files are displayed as thumbnails for enhanced performance.
  • MM-1971: SpamProfiler can now be used in a Standard Rule condition.
