Information:

All currently supported versions of MailMarshal correctly identify Office 2007 documents.

  • The "Office 2007" format is used by all later versions of Office.

MailMarshal SMTP versions below 6.4 identify Office 2007 documents as .zip files. The content of these files can be unpacked and scanned.  For more information see Q11540: Is Office 2007 and 2003 supported by MailMarshal SMTP and MailMarshal Exchange?
