Question:

• How do I enable the URLCensor?
• What rule blocks incoming email with certain URLs in the message body?

Procedure:

To enable the URLCensor, create a rule similar to the following, if the rule does not already exist:

Standard Rule: Block Spam - URLCensor
When a message arrives
Where message is incoming
Where message is categorized as 'URLCensor Blacklisted'
Move the message to 'Spam - URLCensor'

Where message is categorized as 'Spam' and 'URLCensor Blacklisted'  

Notes:

• MailMarshal (SEG) 10.0 and above allows use of "or" in the message category rule condition. However for clarity in reading policy this option should be used with caution.

You can use URLCensor to complement your existing spam rules. URLCensor targets Web links typically included in spam messages and provides excellent false triggering, hit-rate, and speed.
