HOWTO: How do I add a serial number to a current installation?

  • WebTrends Firewall Suite 4.X

Question:

How do I add a serial number to a current installation?

Procedure:

To add a Serial Number to an existing installation of the software (for instance to activate a full product, a subscription, or a server add-on) please follow the steps below for the specific version of your software.

For Firewall Suite 4.X, follow these steps.

  1. Click Help from the main console.

  2. Select Add Serial Numbers...

  3. Enter the serial number in the text box provided.

  4. Click Submit.

  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for any additional serial numbers.

  6. Click Close to return to the main console.


For versions prior to Firewall Suite 4.0, follow these steps.

  1. Click Help.

  2. Select Product.

  3. Select Add Serial Numbers...

  4. Enter the serial number in the text box provided.


For all versions of Security Reporting Center, follow these steps.

  1. Click Administration.

  2. Select Licensing.

  3. Select Add Trial Code or Serial Number.

  4. Enter the serial number in the text box provided.

  5. Click Submit.

  6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for any additional serial numbers.

  7. Click Done.
