ERRMSG: Error: 'Event - RpcServerUseProtseqEp returned 0x6cc' when trying run the MailMarshal Engine in Debug mode.

Symptoms:

  • Error: 'Event - RpcServerUseProtseqEp returned 0x6cc' when trying run the MailMarshal Engine in Debug mode.

Causes:

This is mostly likely because the Engine service is already running.

 

Information:

If you need to run the Engine service in debug mode, first ensure it is not already running. 

Stop the Engine using Windows Services, the SEG Server Tool, SEG Configurator or MailMarshal (SEG) 10 Management Interface.

Now start the engine in debug mode in the command window.
