ERRMSG: Error: 'Cannot create loader file.'

Expand / Collapse

This article applies to:

  • Firewall Suite 4.X
  • Microsoft Word

Symptoms:

  • Error: 'Cannot create loader file.'

Causes:

This error will happen when (and only when) you are running a report in Microsoft Word format, another Microsoft Word report is already open, and you attempt to run a second report.

Below is the course the report process will take to the point where Firewall Suite displays the error message:

  1. Loading Web Traffic Analysis Cartridge
  2. Collecting Data
  3. Building Report
  4. Creating Output File
  5. Loading Content File
  6. Loading Language File
  7. Initializing Report Template
  8. Report Terminated error

Information:

The only option is to click OK, which terminates the report. The solution is to close the first report (save it if appropriate) and re-run the second report.
