Definitions of the Report Ranges

Information:

The Range tab in the Create Report window allows the user to define the date and time range of the data within the log file for which a report is to be run. There is an option to specify the date and time range manually, or the user may choose from a list of pre-defined ranges.

Note: "Quarters" are divided as follows: First Quarter, January 1 to March 31; Second Quarter, April 1 to June 30; Third Quarter, July 1 to September 30; and, Fourth Quarter, October 1 to December 31. Six month periods are divided from January 1 to June 30 and July 1 to December 31.

Choose one of the following options from the drop down menu which is located on the Range tab of the Create Report window.

Note: The default option is the All of Log option.

Report Range Definition of report range.
All of Log Reports on all data in the log file.
Specify Date/Time Reports on the time frame specified from Start Time and Date and End Time and Date. The time should be entered in military format with hours, minutes and seconds (15:30:00). Dates should be specified using a format of mm/dd/yyyy (04/15/2001).
Last 15 minutes Reports on the activity that has taken place within the last 15 minutes.
Last hour Reports on the activity that has taken place in the last hour.
Last 12 hours Reports on the activity that has taken place in the last 12 hours.
Today Reports on the activity for the current day from midnight to 23:59:59.
Yesterday Reports on yesterdays activity from midnight to 23:59:59.
This week Reports on activity for the current week from Sunday up to the point in which the report is started.
Last week Reports on activity for the last week from Sunday to Saturday.
These 2 weeks Reports on activity from Sunday of last week to the point in which the report is started.
Last 2 weeks Reports on activity for the last two full weeks.
This month Reports on activity for the current month up to the point in which the report is started.
Last month Reports on activity for last month.
This quarter Reports on activity for the current quarter up to the point in which the report is started.
Last quarter Reports on activity for the current quarter up to the point in which the report is started.
This 6 months Reports on activity of the current six-month period.
Last 6 months Reports on the activity of the last six-month period. This year (by equal 4 week periods) - Reports on activity for the current year up to the point in which the report is started. Data is graphed with each bar representing a 4 week period.
This year (by equal 4-week periods) Reports on activity for the current year up to the point in which the report is started. Data is graphed with each bar representing a four-week period.
This year (by months) Reports on activity for the current year up to the point in which the report is started. Data is graphed with each bar representing one month.
Last year (by equal 4-week periods) Reports on activity for last year. Data is graphed with each bar representing a four-week period.
Last year (by months) Reports on activity for last year. Data is graphed with each bar representing one month.
Last day of log Reports on all activity from midnight to 23:59:59 for the day including the very last entry in the log file.
Previous day of log Reports on all activity from midnight to 23:59:59 for the day prior to the day of the very last entry in the log file.
Last week of log Reports on activity from Sunday to Saturday for the week including the very last entry in the log file.
Previous week of log Reports on activity from Sunday to Saturday for the full week prior to the week of the very last entry in the log file.
Last 2 weeks of log Reports on activity from Sunday to Saturday for the two weeks including the very last entry in the log file.
Previous 2 weeks Reports on activity from Sunday to Saturday for the two full weeks prior to the week of the very last entry in the log file.
Last month of log Reports on activity from the first day of the month to the last entry in the log file for the month including the very last entry of the log file.
Previous month of log Reports on activity from the first to the last day of the month for the month which is prior to that of the very last entry of the log file.
Last quarter of log Reports on activity from the first day of the quarter to the last entry in the log for the quarter including the very last entry in the log file.
Previous quarter of log Reports on activity from the first to the last day of the quarter for the quarter prior to that of the very last entry in the log file.
Last year of log (by equal 4-week periods) Reports on activity from January 1 to the last entry in the log for the year including that very last entry. The data is graphed with each bar representing a four-week period.
Last year of log (by months) Reports on activity from January 1 to the last entry in the log file for the year including that very last entry. The data is graphed with each bar representing a one month period.
Previous year of log (by equal 4-week periods) Reports on activity from January 1 to December 31 for the year prior to that of the very last entry in the log file. The data is graphed with each bar representing a four-week period.
Previous year of log (by months) Reports on activity from January 1 to December 31 for the year prior to that of the very last entry in the log file. The data is graphed with each bar representing one month.
First day of log Reports on activity for the full day from midnight to 23:59:59 for the day including the very first entry of the log file.
First week of log Reports on activity for the week from Sunday to Saturday for the week including the very first entry in the log file.
First 2 weeks of log Reports on activity for the two weeks from Sunday to Saturday for those two weeks which are including the very first entry of the log file.
First month of log Reports on activity for the month including the very first entry in the log file.
