The following are hardware and software prerequisites for the MailMarshal Reporting Console installation. Note that if Reporting Console databases are installed on the same computer as the MailMarshal SMTP database, the MailMarshal SMTP requirements must also be considered. For information about MailMarshal SMTP database sizing, see the MailMarshal SMTP User Guide.

Note: When installing prerequisites on Windows XP, be sure that IIS is enabled before you install the .NET framework. If you do not follow this sequence, the SQL Express Advanced or Marshal Reporting Console installation will fail. For more information, see Marshal Knowledge Base article Q12054.
