If used in a filtering profile, a quota restricts the end user's time in a passed library category that was set with a specified number of quota minutes. After spending 75 percent of time in a quota-marked category, the user receives a notice page. After spending 100 percent of quota time in a quota-designated category, the user is blocked from further accessing any quota-marked category until the quota is reset.

Quota time is calculated based on the quota minutes specified for a passed library category in the filtering profile, combined with the Overall Quota -- which is a capped number of minutes for visiting any quota-marked category -- and also factors-in the configuration from the Quota Setting window.

Quotas are reset automatically each day and can be reset at designated intervals each day or can be reset on demand.
