Issue resolved:
As of 28 March 2024, Google Public DNS can again be used with the Marshal IP Reputation Service (RBL) rbl.marshal.com
- Queries forwarded through Google Public DNS return the expected values
- The previous symptom of all queries returning NXDOMAIN is no longer seen.
Trustwave identified an issue with handling of certain query formats used by Google. The RBL infrastructure has been updated to respond as expected to these queries.
