Authenticator Package Editor - R3000 Server Address(es) Field

This article applies to:

  • WFR 2.x, 3.x, 4.x, 5.x
  • WF 3.x, 4.x, 5.x
  • R3000 3.x, 4.x

Question:

  • The Authenticator Package editor has a space labeled 'R3000 Server Address(es):', should I enter the IP of my Web Filter in that space?

Information:

The 'R3000 Server Address(es)' space is provided so that customers can enter a virtual IP. You are not expected to enter the IP of your Web Filter because it would cause other authentication problem; such as intermittently authentication failure. Virtual IP should be an unused IP address in the same subnet as the Filter's management interface.
