Question:
- How can I report inappropriate images to google.com?
Information:
This document assumes you are using 'best practice' methods, by enforcing safe search on the filter profiles. The images are not controlled by the filter but the feature, (safe search enforcement) locks the browser to a 'strict search mode' and the user cannot change the preferences for the 5 search engines we support. Here's the 'how to' KB for that. Most education customers use this feature extensively.
An example of an appropriate time to use this process would be if a user searched Google Images for an innocuous term (such as ‘dog’) and the results included offensive/adult images.
Inappropriate images can be reported to Google using the web page link below. It is necessary to log into a google.com account prior to submitting a report.
