Support Notifications for the Secure Web Gateway product and its components are listed below. Although this list includes End of Life Notifications, it is not exhaustive, so please contact support for full details.
McAfee (applies only to customers with this option)
Please note that McAfee Anti-Virus engine version 5200 will be End of Life by January 31st, 2008. Customers using McAfee Anti-Virus engine on the Vital Security Appliance series should upgrade to the following releases in order to support the new Anti-Virus engine:
Vital Security 9.0
Vital Security 9.2
Customers using Vital Security 8.5.0 and 8.4.3 will continue receiving DAT files for the 5.2 engine which will be tested by Finjan. In order to upgrade to McAfee engine 5.3, please upgrade to version 9.0 and above.
Vital Security 8.4.3
As of April 1st 2009, Vital Security Version 8.4.3 and all its preceding versions are no longer supported by Finjan. Finjan strongly recommends upgrading to the latest Software Version available. Please refer to the relevant Software Version Release Notes before upgrading.
Security Update # 75
In order to be able to install Security Update #75, customers need to upgrade their systems to the following versions.
Vital Security 8.4.0 –Maintenance release M08
Vital Security 8.4.3 –Maintenance release M11
Vital Security 8.5.0 –Maintenance release M01 (M01 is relevant only for customers who have installed the version as a CD installation. These customers will see this release in the Available Updates section of the Management Console.)
