No data in Reporter when logging in the Webclient


This article applies to:

  • ER 5.x and below

Question:

  • When logging into ER Webclient on port 8080 there is a " No data" error showing.

Reply:

Potential reasons for no data.

1. Er was just installed and needs 24 hours to summerize data.

2. The filter is missing the IP of the ER to send data to, go to the filter under Reporting>Report configuration>check box Export, add your internal  ip to the ER in this area.

3.Go to the Er admin section, port 88 on a stand alone ER or port 808 on the IR combo filter and make sure the box is in LIVE MODE not ARCHIVE MODE.

Notes:

If this is a newly installed ER make sure you call tech support to take out of evaluation mode. Otherwise the ER will only hold two weeks of data.
