Symptoms:

When attempting to apply the R3000 v2.2 patch on the R3000IR appliance, the following error is given:
Error:
“The ER patch is not available. Please call customer support for further options.”
Causes:
- The R3000 v2.2 not only upgrades the Operating System on the appliance, but a number of other key software components such as Tomcat, Apache Web Server, MySql. Since the R3000IR box is actually running both the R3000 filter software, and the Enterprise Reporter software, we cannot apply these upgrades onto the appliance until the Enterprise Reporter Software is compatible with the new software upgrades.
Resolution:
To apply the R3000 v2.2 software on the R3000IR, the appliance will also need to have the Enterprise Reporter release version 5.1. Please call customer support for further options.
