Should I block the "Edge Content Servers/Infrastructure" category?
Many popular sites, such as Google maps, use caching servers--which are distributed all over the world--to store mirror images of certain pages, or the entire site. This speeds-up the site, and also reduces the amount of traffic on their primary web servers.
These caching servers are categorized in the "Edge Content Servers/Infrastructure" category.
If you request information from Google maps, for example, chances are good that at least some of the data will NOT come from Google's own servers, but from caching servers located near you--perhaps at close as your Internet Service Provider.
For this reason, it's generally not a good idea to BLOCK the "Edge Content Servers/Infrastructure" category, unless your goal is to severely limit access to the Internet, or block it entirely.
