Question:
Windows Vista Home Edition cannot join domain in LDAP
Reply
Windows Vista Enterprise Edition can join the domain but Vista Home Edition cannot. If you have a PC with Vista Home Premium and cannot join domain in LDAP and only Vista Enterprise works, try this workaround.
1. In the group section, click on IP>add Group
2. Click on the new IP group you created and select members.
3. If the IP is static, add a single IP to the "source IP start " and "end IP" (use same IP as source and end)
4. If you have a DHCP environment, then add a source IP and appropriate subnet mask to cover the range
