How can I block Skype?

It is possible to block access to the skype.com website by either blocking the Voice over IP category, or adding skype.com to any category which is already blocked.

It is also possible to block traffic from the Skype application using the WebMarshal and Secure Web Gateway solutions (see the related articles).  Skype blocking with the Web Filter is currently being researched.
