The release notes installed with MailMarshal Exchange and MailMarshal Exchange Reports are current as of the date of publication. This article includes any information generated after that date.

The current released version is 5.3.2.9252 (April 20, 2010)

Please note the following additions/corrections:

• This release supports Microsoft Exchange 2007 RTM, SP1, or SP2.
  

Additional changes in version 5.3.1

• MEX-135: In earlier versions, unpacked files with Unicode or non-English characters in the long file names could not be scanned. 8.3 filenames are now used to access these files. Note that this function requires 8.3 file naming to be enabled. See Trustwave Knowledgebase article Q12180.
• MEX-370: The check for files remaining in the Replay directory is performed by the Engine periodically. If you experience problems with this functionality, it can be disabled. Contact Trustwave Technical Support for details.

Notes:

5.3.2 is an upgrade release for version 5.3.1.

5.3 is NOT an upgrade release for earlier versions of MailMarshal Exchange.

MailMarshal Exchange 5.3 is designed for installation with Exchange 2007 servers. Version 5.3 provides the same content inspection functionality present in version 5.2.
