Symptoms:

  • Error: 'Subscription cannot be added. Its expiration is prior to today's date or expiration date of active subscription.'

Information:

To work around this issue, you can set your system clock back to the date when the subscription was purchased. Follow the steps below.

  1. Double-click the time displayed in the lower right-hand corner of the systray.

  2. Change the date to the date the subscription was purchased.

  3. Click OK.

  4. Enter the subscription serial number into the product via the Help | Add Serial Numbers menu.

  5. After clicking the Submit button, you will receive a prompt, "Serial number successfully added."

  6. Close the window.

  7. Change the system clock back to the correct date.
