FastTrends Database Maintenance Interface does not remove the actual data files from the machine's hard drive.

Symptoms:

  • Deleting FastTrends databases via the FastTrends Database Maintenance interface does not remove the actual data files from the machine's hard drive.

Resolution:

You must delete the files manually.  Please see the steps that follow:

  1. Open Windows Explorer.
  2. Navigate to the Security Reporting Center installation directory (the default location is C:\Program Files\NetIQ\Security Reporting Center).
  3. Navigate to modules\firewall\datfiles\databases and delete the folder that matches your profile's name (%profilename%).
