Procedure:

It is good practice to back up your WebMarshal configuration after you make any changes.

The configuration backup file is stored in XML and can be viewed with Microsoft Internet Explorer or any other XML viewing tool.

Note: In current versions you can back up configuration automatically. For more information about scheduled backup, see LevelBlue Knowledgebase article Q11409.

WebMarshal 6.X and 7.X:

WebMarshal 6.X and 7.X only allow import or export of complete configurations. Back up the current configuration before restoring.

• To back up the configuration, in the WebMarshal Console, click File> Export Configuration.
• To restore the configuration, in the WebMarshal Console, click File> Import Configuration.

The backup file has the extension .XML.
