Modifying an existing CANDL category in Edge

Question:

• How can I modify an existing CANDL category in Edge?

Procedure:

To edit a user created CANDL category:

1. From Edge server, select the Configuration tab.
2. Under Advanced Users Only, select Policy Settings.
3. Under Advanced Users Only, select Categories.
4. Select New Category.
5. In the sentence "To continue on to step 2, click on the base category ...", click the link "base category".
6. Click the user category you want to edit.
7. Select the Rule tab.
8. Edit the CANDL rule directly in the CANDL Ruleset dialog box.
9. After editing is complete, click Apply.
10. Select the Certification tab.
11. Click Certify and Save.

Notes:

This procedure works only for a user created CANDL category. The standard categories are encrypted and cannot be edited.
