To enter keys for the products and optional features, find the product or feature name below.

Note: These instructions refer to the current versions at the time of writing.

Trustwave MailMarshal (SEG)
MailMarshal Exchange (ECM)

  1. Open the MailMarshal Configurator or MailMarshal (SEG) 10 Management Console.
  2. Navigate to Array Properties | License.
  3. Click Enter Key and paste the key.
  4. Choose the action that should occur if the license expires (hold mail, or deliver unfiltered).

Note: Optional licensed items are licensed through the product key.

Marshal IP Reputation Service:

Product maintenance for Trustwave SEG is required to access to this service. If you enter a new product key, the credential for this service changes.

In Trustwave SEG 7.3.5 and above the updated credential is automatically provisioned over the web. For the required URL access, see article Q12992.

  • A new installation attempts to retrieve credentials immediately.
  • If you request and install a new product key, normally the credentials will be retrieved within an hour from the time of generation of the key. You can force a check by re-entering the product key (even if the key has not changed).

In earlier versions, you can retrieve and enter credentials in the MailMarshal Configurator (Reputation Service properties, Customer tab).

WebMarshal 6.8 and above

  1. Open the WebMarshal Console.
  2. From the Help menu select Licensing.
  3. Click Enter Key and paste the key.

Note: Most optional licensed items are licensed through the product key.

Subscriptions are linked to your account through the WebMarshal product key. To activate the database subscription:

  1. After entering the key, in the  WebMarshal navigate to Policy Elements > URL Filtering
  2. Select the Trustwave or M86 List.
  3. Note that new keys can take up to 24 hours to be enabled for this feature.
